Marco Polo 2011

The available budget for the 2011 Call is €56.87 million. Novelties of this year's call for proposals include an upfront screening of maritime proposals to avoid potential competition issues. Special environmentally-friendly maritime projects, inland waterway projects and rail projects with single-wagon loads are priorities in 2011.

The call was published on 21 October with a deadline for the submission of proposals of 16 January 2012. See 'call documents' for details of 2011 submission requirements.
